Hello and thank you for reading. Ok so this is no tutorial, but it will be the introduction of how I quit smoking weed for a year to disprove the people that say it is addictive. I believe it is addicting, but it is at the level of addiction as tv, reality shows, video games, as in it is only a mental addiction. It is all in the mind. So technically anything can become an addiction.

My Theory: It is all mental with weed as opposed to with cigarettes which contain nicotine. Nicotine affects you physically. It makes your body ask for it. It gets your body addicted.

Now today a friend sent me a link. This one in particular

Now on the 2nd page of that article and it is listed as the 1# argument. He kind of throws out a challenge.

So this is exactly what I will do, I will put my words into actions.

Also that last sentence "It's tough to give up something that you've built your entire personality around." Honestly a lot of people that know me in real life. Actually most people that know me in real life, do not even know I smoke cannabis. A lot of people that know me via Facebook or via some internet mean do know I smoke, because recently I have gotten tired of hiding the fact that I do it. So I have kind of come to admit to it on the internet. So the ones that really know me in real life. Will have to read this twice and will probably contact me asking if it really is me or they are just confused. Why? Well because I have not "built an entire personality around" cannabis.

Ok so how will this work? Well I will try to answer as much as I can here. OK, so for this experiment I will stop smoking weed/thc/marijuana/cannabis, while my friend who has developed a nicotine habit, will stop smoking/dipping/in taking nicotine. Ok so we will log anything that we feel that has changed since we stopped. Example, if all of a sudden I begin to drink a lot of alcohol(btw, I don't smoke nicotine or drink alcohol anymore, I have been clean for at least 2 months of nicotine and about 5 months of alcohol). If all of a sudden I begin to drink a lot or eat a lot, I will record this. As it may be a drawback or effect of the fact that my body is trying to replace its need for THC with something else.

My friend will do the same. Now I know we have not signed any legal contract or anything like that. Actually now that I think about this, I might type up a contract and post it so public can see. I will try and get it notarized and made official. Lets suppose that I am not able to do that. Then, this whole experiment will have to really on the fact that I myself and my friend who is helping me tell the truth. I give my word, that I will tell the truth of what happens. I really want to disprove what was mention in that article, so I give my word. My friend has given his word as well.

Like I said I will try to make this legally official, and get a notarized contract. I do not guarantee this, but I will try.

OK, so how this all started. Here is my first log. I will try to include more info on future logs. My friend does not wish to be public. So I will hide his identity by changing his name. He will be known as CT. The public log will change his name, but the official log, will be stored in a server in which only him and I have access to.The official log will have every single detail and nothing will be uncensored. So just in case this experiment happens to go big and someone wants to see every single detail. Then I will have access to it and show them everything that went on. I am the only one who is allowed to modify the logs, but I must inform him every time I do. He also has the power to check the exact time the log was modified, and he wants me to quit smoking so he will be honest with you all. If I happen to modify log without his consent, then that will send my word to shit, and you can all say this exp was fixed or what ever you wish to believe. So he is monitoring me. The reason why I will filter public one is not to try and hide me smoking or anything like that. The reason is because my friend would not like his family to find out.

A few things to keep in mind if you will be following up. I will go by tony in public log for short, and my friend will go as CT for id purposes. I have requested one of my good friends who is a writer and owns an online magazine, to proof read my work. He has not responded as of this moment, but hopefully he will take care of spell check and grammar check. If anybody else is interested in being a spell checker, I would appreciate it. Normally I would fire it up, but as you can see. Beginning Sat midday, I will not be able to smoke anymore :p.

This is not a tutorial... yea I know I haven't been posting tutorials. I have been lazy! That and the I do not have that much time to research stuff. A lot of things are going on right now, so what ever.

So you know what I dislike? When people tell me "you used to be such a good boy Tony". I am like WTF, I still am. I love helping people any chance I get, and by help I mean help out of my own free will, not do stuff they should be doing ,but they take advantage of me and make me do it for the price my valuable time. I will not let someone take advantage of me, especially if they are ungrateful. Don't get it confused.

I haven't killed anyone. I haven't stolen from anyone. I have not harmed anyone physically and as far as I know no one emotionally. I never gave a fuck about school, and I still don't. The only thing that is interfering with my learning is my education. Nothing has changed, well I guess that is a lie. Everyone changes, I have to change. I used to live under a free roof, free food, my babies running around making me laugh and making my day. Now I live alone, well I have a roommate, but I mean alone as in without my family. Yes I miss them and I love them all and I am really grateful for my life. The point I am trying to make is. I went from not having to pay for much to having to pay for everything. Obviously I had to have changed in order to go through a change like this. I am in college now and a few miles away from my mom. Obviously I had to change, but what I mean by not change. Is that I am still the same, like. I am still "good".

Yea I do illegal things, but who decides what is legal and what is not? Do you even know? A lot of people form the United States do not. I do illegal things, but who am I hurting? Who am I harming and why can you judge me in a negative way. When you are over at your computer downloading your mainstream songs, which breaks copyright laws. You too are doing illegal stuff, but to you it is normal. The things I do are part of my life and are normal to me. What do I want most in this world? Happiness :), not self happiness, because I just have to log onto my facebook, go to one of my sisters profiles and go to their pictures and take a look at my 4 babies. That will always put a smile on my face, I am happy with life. Yea I don't have the best things or a lot of money, but happiness is what you make it. I am really happy :), I had a blowout not too long ago. If that had happened a few weeks ago, I would not have the money to pay for it. Luckily I have 2 jobs, all my paycheck and some went into getting those 2 new tires, but what did I do? I laughed at it. It was kinda funny actually. I mean why get mad and gripe? See I do not follow any current religion, and that's another thing people judge me about.

Just because I do not follow a religion does not make me a bad person. See I just smiled as I watched my paycheck go into the blowout, yea I forgot to mention I had to miss work for that day so... yea. I did not get mad or gripe, I just let it play patiently waited for my father(Thanks dad :)). I have seen people who get nervous, sad, worried, mad because everything is going wrong in their life. Who are these people? The so called good religious people. If you truly believe in your god, doesn't he do things for a reason? Why get mad? See me on the other hand I do not believe that a being has us here to worship him and he just throws little monkey wrenches when a lot of other things are going "bad" in life. See what I believe is that the tire exploded because of the heat. My tires still had a little bit of life left, but they were nearly due for a change. With Texas heat, tire tend to expand and explode. I call it science. What happened to me. The conditions were perfect for a blowout, had the blow out not happened, that would have been the true miracle. I am not saying religion is bad, but if it can not help you make the best of your problems and in some cases brings you more problems. What is so "good" about that? If you truly believe in your religion, I respect that. If you are just using that as a way to present yourself to the public as a "good" person, then so be it. Just don't expect any respect from my part, but also don't expect any negative responses :p.

Ok back on topic, the point I was trying to make is. I am a good person. If you come to me for help, I will be their for you if you truly need me. To the best of my ability, weather I just met you a minute ago, or I have known you all my life. If you truly need help, you can turn to me and if their is anything I can do to help, I will do it. Even if I have to sacrifice something of mine. Weather it be a material thing or time what ever that is I am willing to do it. Because we are one race, we are all one and everyone deserves to be happy.

Now why did I just go on rambling about this? Well because a lot of people do not see the reality of the world. Sorry if someone from a distant country is reading this. Most of this is directed to a United States audience. A lot of other countries are ahead of this great country. So I feel like I have to direct my attention to United States first.

Lets point out some facts. Politicians are bullshit. Not necessary the candidate themselves, but the system. Did you know that when this great nation was established, everyone was supposed to be free. A lot of the founders had just escaped their land because of kings or other people telling them what to do and how to live. They established this great country, but what has happened to this great country? Well it got invaded by entertainment. I mean come on, what do you do with your free time? Do you do something you truly enjoy? Or do you just watch other live their lives and compare it to yours. If you do, then obviously you will begin to think that your life is so much bad, and you need to fix this so you can live a life like them. You worship these people. I am talking about reality shows, soap operas etc. This country has been shot down. Look at the joke of an education system we have. Really people? If you think this country has a great education tell me. Where are Chinese from? Where are Jews from? Answer will be at end of blog pst. Look at this system, its just a joke.

Ok back to what I was saying another fact. This country is not run by the majority of the people, how it was originally planned to be. It is run by money and the select few that have control over it.

Why is it legal for you to be sent to jail, because you downloaded a song onto your hardrive or audio player? Well because if you download it, you probably did not pay for it, so someone lost money. Key word money. This country is run by money. Look at all the bullshit laws that the people(I guess I should include myself, although I must mention I am not a citizen of this great country. I belong to a beautiful country, who is also run in a corrupt way, but not as extensive as this country.) have let pass. They are removing your freedom while you sit their and watch reality shows. Reality shows? its on the fucking tv, whats so real about that, go out and live your life. Educate yourself, because this countries education system is not doing it for you. Educate your self and your kids, with true knowledge.

Ok so now that we have established that this country runs on money lets take a look at my hobbies. I am tired of hiding the fact that I smoke cannabis. Yes I do, and I have been doing it for a while. I keep it quite for a few reasons. 1 is because a lot of people have such negativity towards it. They do not understand the facts and why it is even illegal. I bet you did not know that THC, the chemical in cannabis that gets you "high", can also destroy cancer cells. Yea it won't cure your tumor, but it can help your body destroy cells that may later turn into cancerous cells. Why is it illegal? You tell me. Ok If you don't know, then I'll tell you the reason which why it was made illegal. It was made illegal because it made "Negros want to rape white women". Oh shit that sounds horrible, maybe I should stop smoking before I want to rape white women. First of all, I have been smoking for years, now more than in the past. I have never wanted to rape a women. I know plenty of my African American homies, who smoke killa weed and they have not raped any white women. So why is it illegal still? If you think you know feel free to comment with the answer. Yea it is illegal, no arguing that, but does that make it bad? Give me 3 negative things about marijuana, it being legal does not count. If you think everything that is illegal is bad, then stop growing vegetables in your front yard, because even though you pay taxes and probably get a way better nutrition from naturally grown vegetables it can get you sent to jail.



This post is long and might not make much sense. I am just typing and expressing the thoughts that approach my mind first. Feel free to ask me any questions. This post was, made to justify what I do. I am tired of people telling me you used to be such a good boy. I still am. I still consider myself good, yea I do some illegal activities, but like I said who am I hurting? I just want everyone or who ever bothers to read this, that I am a good person and I am tired of people telling me that I used to be good. I will probably re read this and come back and add and modify some stuff. I just wanted to get stuff off my chest. Thank you if you read this, stay tuned I will modify this.

so lets blog. I have no interesting topics to write about, so i'll just go on about my day or my current taught. My spelling and grammar might be crap, because its not a tutorial or anything just me blogging.

I am sitting at work bored, finished filing and reviewing everything. Everyone is talking about the case so I went ahead and made a little something

So I had a blow out on Sunday and could not make it to my weekend job. I was on my way to Corpus and all of a sudden



I lost control of car, but managed to safely pull over. I noticed my car was shaking a bit, so I slowed down. I figured it was a flat tire, and car behind me stops as well asking if I am okay. I get out and go check the tire and I see that lol, I just put on a smile and I laughed. No sense in getting worried over stuff like this, it happens, we should not let it bring us down. Worse part was that I had to wait a few minutes until my dad arrived with a spare tire, I was sweating my ass off. Ended up paying around $350 to get it fixed. Dad payed half and I paid other half, I didn't have much money to begin with. Oh well lol at least I am ok

Monday I woke up at like 2pm, and chilled with my friends a bit who were down from Bloomington/Victoria. Then I went to a goodbye dinner with some friends. A really good friend of mine is going back to his country Turkey and we all got together to say goodbye. Played a lil pool and just had a great time.

He left today, probably on a plane right now. I hope to visit Turkey in the future, Istanbul to be exact. Umm... I am just writing to write. I am drinking my 2nd monster of the day. I slept late and today I get out at 7pm. First monster was import(with the sticker), other monster was the big one with a lid. Not the BFC, but the next biggest one, that I am aware of.

This is just an update post to let you know whats happening with my blog and site and all this mess.

So I am still updating www.tonystutorials.com, but it is viewable and can be used at the moment, so I have moved it back on my priority list.

What I am working on now is my bio page www.tonyesquivel.com. This will be its own project and will be seperate form tonystutorials. I plan to make this my bio page, I will be offering computer repair services and other small money making ideas. This page will provide my contact info, and all that fancy stuff. So this is my main focus,

I need:
People to vote on which template looks better, not necessarily pro, but better for a personal repair business. I dislike the word business, because that means I have to pay a percent to the government. So it is not my business its my hobby ;)

Tony Esquivel: Ron Paul, our Texas congress man once again he is the only republican I like. His idea's and his speech are incredible. Before I was going for Obama I was follower of Ron Paul in last Presidential elecitons. Now he goes and does this :) Can this man get any better?


Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA) and Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) will introduce "bi-partisan legislation tomorrow ending the federal war on marijuana and letting states legalize, regulate, tax, and control marijuana without federal interference," according to a press release from the Marijuana Policy Project that just hit my inbox. More from that email:

Other co-sponsors include Rep. John Conyers (D-MI), Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN), Rep. Jared Polis (D-CO), and Rep. Barbara Lee (D-CA). The legislation would limit the federal government’s role in marijuana enforcement to cross-border or inter-state smuggling, allowing people to legally grow, use or sell marijuana in states where it is legal. The legislation is the first bill ever introduced in Congress to end federal marijuana prohibition.

Rep. Frank’s legislation would end state/federal conflicts over marijuana policy, reprioritize federal resources, and provide more room for states to do what is best for their own citizens.

I called Morgan Fox at MPP to ask about the chances that this bill will get any serious debate time in the House (a fair question, considering that it has only one Republican supporter at the moment). "It's definitely going to get a serious debate, probably more in the media than on the floor of the House," Fox told me. "But I think it needs to be debated on the floor."

What does MPP see as obstacles?

"Someone in the prohibitionist camp could hold it up as long as they wanted, but the slew of opinion pieces that came out last week calling for the end of the failed drug war will give this momentum," Fox said.

While Paul's status as a declared presidential candidate should help with media pick-up, Frank is leading the press teleconference tomorrow, and Paul's not even on the call.

Previous Frank-Paul partnerships include a 2010 op-ed to reduce military spending and a marijuana decriminalization bill introduced in the House in 2009. In the intervening two years, Arizona and Washington, D.C., have legalized medical marijuana, and the Connecticut legislature has moved to decriminalize it. Now former U.S. Attorney John McKay and Seattle City Attorney Pete Holmes are organizing to completely legalize marijuana in Washington State. The time is ripe.
